“Creed III” Trailer Presentation: Michael B

‘Creed’ fans got their final peek at the appearance of Michael B. Jordan for the first time during Super Bowl LVII.

On March 3, Jordan will return as Adonis “Donnie” Creed in “Creed III,” marking the ninth installment of the “Rocky” series.

But Jordan Creed no longer has Rocky Balboa Sylvester Stallone by his side. while Stallone will not return due to creative differences, and Tessa Thompson and Phylicia Rashad will reprise their roles as Creed’s friend Bianca and stepmother Mary Anne, respectively. Jonathan Majors has joined the production as Anderson “Damian” Dame, a new rival for Creed.

The trailer tells how Adonis has since come to terms with adhering to the legacy of his late father, Apollo Creed. But as he embraces his independent career as Adonis, his past creeps up on him again when Anderson (Majors) returns after an 18-year prison sentence. One night when they were children, Adonis and Anderson were stopped by cops, after which Anderson was put in jail for nearly two decades. As a former boxer, Anderson returns to get revenge on the life he believes was stolen, even if it means facing Adonis in the ring at a massive event at Dodger Stadium. At a quick look, the Super Bowl website reveals that the stadium is absolutely packed with fans cheering for this massive showdown, and Anderson clearly found a huge fan following.

The film was originally set to be released on November 23, 2022, but MGM postponed its March 3 release. “Creed 3” was written by Kenan Coogler (“Space Jam: A New Legacy”) and Zack Palin (“King Richard”). The screenplay is based on a story by “Creed I” director Ryan Coogler.
