“It was one of the most amazing transformations of my career,” he said. “I don’t know how you managed to turn that match around.”
And the three-time main champion feels he has now reached a point in his game where he is confident of making more memories on tour.
“This week could have ended very differently,” added Murray. “But the way I played in the really important moments, the defining moments, it showed there was a confidence and belief in play that had been missing for a while.”
