Mercedes has kept its sexy, side-swept concept for the new W14 despite the team promising the car will be radically different compared to its failed 2022 model.
However, Sky Sports host Ted Kravitz feels he could be working on a Plan B that could include a completely different design.
He said: “They are bringing their big idea that was a flop back last year again, but I think they have Plan B in production.
“If they need to, they can move to Plan B, which is the Red Bull or Ferrari way of doing things, in the middle of the season.
“That’s why we’re hearing from Mercedes…these rules have been around for a few more years now, so they have to get it right at some point.”
